The chaotic end to The Vikings left Roger Gooch to form The Flintstones with school friend Steve Grimble. Keith & John were long time friends of Steve and were recruited to the band having skiffled with The Cravats during the late fifties

All four members were connected trough their attendance of the Tuesday Club in Princes Street. The group had a succession of bass players but its core founders remained. Steve left the group in  19x to concentrate on his career with Barclays Bank. The group continued albeit for a short while with replacement vocalist who name is now lost

Outside of the group activities saw Steve & Roger working on the score with the Princes Street congregational church Tuesday club in their version of the controversial play ‘A Man Dies’ in April ‘63.                    The group thought they had managed to land 196 biggest support scoop when they were asked to play at the Gala with     The Big Three but the group failed to show what was to be a big scoop in Sadly it appears that pictures of the group on stage in their Stone Age leopard skin’s no longer exist

Support: The Contrasts / Tommy Quickly & The Remo Four / Tony Rivers & The Castaways / Wayne Gibson & The Dynamic Sounds / Linda Laine & The Sinners / The Sorrows
