"We started about 1958/59. We would rehearse in the banjo players Dad's bakery. The line up was guitar, banjo, washboard, teaches bass. I can't remember all the names of the group. One of the mothers knitted red jumpers with The Ravens on lines of music.I played Tea chest bass and did vocals I had the highest voice and had just taken my Royal College of music exam for reading music on the organ and singing as a choir boy, Could reach the Johnny Duncan and the Bluegrass boys, 'Last Train to San Fernando' " TC30/03/2020
