The group had started life as The Outlaws but had decided on a name change when they were offered a summer season at [venue required] it was at this point that Rodney Florence left to be replaced by Peter Sullivan and that the group added second guitarist Chris Green.
Despite the success of the summer season Horton had become disolusioned that the band were trying to become an all round variety act simular to that of the Barron Knights and decided to leave. Among Bobs momento’s of those great days was this autographed business card signed to Vicky (Bob’s wife) from PJ Proby.
Bob went on to start the Cat Trap Club at the Bedford Arms with partner [name required] unconfirmed. Chris Green later joined Feel For Soul
