The Archives interest in the Washington Hotel, Salhouse Road, Norwich starts in December 1965 with the opening of the Washington 400 Club. The hotel had previously put on bands but mainly as lounge music. The property which was said to be "Jinxed" from a business perspective was split at auction in September 1965.

 

EEN H&N 02/08/82: Ebenezers gig organizer Mark Ganderton asks for bands to contact him re playing the venue - Live band nights to start on Wednesdays and Thursday nights.
