FB Notes:
Albert Cooper: He played a Tambourine in my group at the Mishief Jacquard, moving from rock to an alrenative he saw in the stuff I was performing at the time.
Colin Cross: I remember him well too. He gave me a copy of his 1st LP "Nobody Knows My Name"which only came out in USA.Only copies available here were ones record company gave him.It was/is an excellent album with some great songs and a unique vocal style.I actually had it transferred to cd and still play it.Roger was managed at the time by Dee Anthony who also managed Humble Pie and Peter Frampton, and he toured the USA with them and Ten Years After.I recall seeing Storyteller at Studio Four folk club, and later, back in Norwich,Roger had a group called Fly By Night
Ruth Katra: last time I saw Roger he was living in Brixton, rumour has it he lived abroad, been looking for him for a while. I loved fly by night removals but Story teller were brilliant, saw them in Putney Half Moon and Festival hall, got Album very interesting cover!.
