The band formed as The Rubber Band in 1965 but a change in direction saw the band become Skinn in [date required]
Skinn played their last gig on the 26th of September 1970. The evening news reported it as a night of farewells as Harry had been lined up to replace Paul England of the Eyes of Blond who simultaneously played his last gig for the Blond the same evening
Jack on the other hand was reported to be linking up with local outfit Kiss but this venture never went past the occasional appearence. Phil was by now the only link to the genisis of a band that had started as The Rockin Roosters in [date required] 196. Phil gave up for good on the night of the last gig "I just wanted to play with the people I knew and for me this was really the end" said Phil
Harry joined the Eyes of Blond but the band ground to a halt shortly after. Despite the bands undisputed talent in both guises they split having only recorded one song for a prospective deal with Polydor, the actetate remains undetected
The main sound and voice of the group Jack Chaplin died in a car crash in 1976
