"The bands line-up is a bit complex as it ran from 1992 til 2010. The original line up was Colin Chettleburgh on guitar and vocals, Dr Bob Fleetcroft on bass & vocals, John Foorde on drums and myself on lead vocals. We formed in 1992 and were originally called Caretaker and changed to The Rock Doctors in 1994. Tony Drazek joined soon after that and we changed direction introducing more classic 70's, 80's and 90's rock. Colin left in 1997 and was replaced by Simon 'Rat' Taylor and the band took on a heavier feel. Bob left in late 1998 followed by Tony who was persuing a solo act. In early 1999 the band was joined by Steve 'Stag' Jones on bass and Ritchie Todd on guitar both from the trio Stone Free. In 2000 john left and Stonefree drummer Shaun Allen joined. Shaun left in 2005 to become a DJ. Was replaced by Steve Pownall temporarily. In 2006 Ritchie went to Uni and was unable to continue Steve also left due to other commitments and they were replaced by old friends Trevor Kennedy on drums and Terry Bunting (ex zorro bandmate) on guitar. Both from Worlds Apart. This line up continued until 2010 when Steve Jones left and I decided it was time I called it a day with the band and it folded.
