The Fuzz were put together by Pete Miller after he left the Jaywalkers in mid 1966. The band did make live appearances on the local scene, making their debut at the Orford Cellar on 30th July 1966. Ultimately the band were just one of the many vehicles used to push Pete’s vast catalogue of inspired compositions and recordings.

It was the Fuzz that produced the recording of Cold Turkey in 1967 that was to become the cult single by Big Boy Pete when eventually released on Polydor’s subsidiary, Camp records a year later.

The record was a hit in Germany reaching [postion required]. Many of the group were involved with other projects for the duration of the Fuzz. The Fuzz advertised for a new guitarist when Pete left to join the beached Continentals but neither project saw the year out.
