"I was the founder, singer, songwriter and guitarist for The Tall Boys. Founded in 1980 and continuing until 1982, the band opended for the likes of The Farmer's Boys, The Higsons, Popular Voice, Serious Drinking among others, primarily at The Jacquard and The Gala. Band members included myself (guitar/vocals), Ian Tooke (percussion), Darren Powell (percussion/vocals) Wayne Smith (Drums), 'Lefty' Williams (Bass) and John Barton (Bass)." PB 03/01/2021
