The Microns were a family trio of two brothers and their sister.  In ?? ‘67 the band were out on their first tour of American airbases in Greece, Crete and Turkey with the hope of moving on to Rumania  and a TV appearance when they were caught in an earthquake that shook Istanbul. This prompted a few anxious days for their parents as they waited for contact from their London based manager. The news came back that the band had been in the tremor but were fine and said they would continue the tour. Mr Bosomworth was a music teacher at Alderman Leach School in Gorleston.
