"I was at school with Howard Turner from 1972 until 1977. Howard formed the band after we left school. The band came together late 1978/early 1979 in Kings Lynn and split at the end of September 1980, when we all went our separate ways.

The band’s repertoire at split was about 60% original material (by Howard), and covers. Musical style was post punk/British R‘n’B/power pop with some blues influence too.

A couple of the songs that went down well with the audience:-

High Fidelity - A song that Howard had a hand in writing ( with others that I didn’t know) that has turned up different guises in different bands over the years - our version was a really powerful guitar driven number, and I think is the best version.

Substitute (For True Love) - A Howard original - that was a great power pop song wit reggae and R’n’B flavour

The band’s last gig was at the end of September 1980 at a birthday party bash at Pentney Abbey just a outside Lynn. It was a fantastic swan song played  to a packed and boisterous house ...." AR05/08/2020
