The Riverside Jazz Club is formed in January 1960 at Thorpe Gardens Public House aka The Boat & Bottle and today known as The Rushcutters. It moved in June 1960 to The Cock Inn aka Studio 4. The club was run by Tony Cooper, Billy White and Derek Doubleday.
