Norwich Beer Festival Entertainment 1977 to 2023
(overview of music, not a history of the festival)
The Norwich branch of Camera (campaign for real ale) formed in 1975. The Beer Festival started in 1977.
The first festival was funded by the branch members and although successful made a loss because although the
hall was always full there was not enough customer turnaround to sell all the beer.
