Kirk McLeod was born in Lowestoft, Sfk on ??/??/19??.

"I took piano lessons as a kid with Ruby Adams in Norwich Road, Lowestoft. I think I did my first ‘gig’ in the Roman Hill school hall around 1982. At Roman Hill School, there was generally a band called ‘The Romans’. The music teacher there in the early 80s was Chas Emmens who was an absolute diamond and let us reprobates use the music room after school and helped us to put concerts on in the school hall. My first band was Knightswood when I was only 15! I joined another band at the end of 1986 which in 1987 chose the name “Bash Street Kids” and did our debut at The South Pier in May 1987, just before my O Levels.”
