Mardi Gras

"I left school and went to music college to study singing....I was at Colchester and studied with Nancy Evans ...from there I joined the New Philharmonia Chorus..and did concerts at the Albert Hall, Festival Hall..and we toured Europe a lot too....working with the glitterati of the classical music world...then I discovered other types of music..and set about working locally around Colchester ...the band I was in was Mardi Grass....Mike Hembling ,Alan Newstead and Nigel Whatling....we were together for 5 years....then I worked with Jon Dcostafor a while....later joining Mick Hanson and co....my foray into jazz...also worked with the lovely Bill Haige. And Bern Hodgekins...after that I tried cabaret....but that was awful...all pre recorded tapes,,yuk,,so I decided to do something different and opened a new age shop....now I live in Spain." CM 2017
