ANDY BUTLER

Born in Norwich in 1961, attended King Edward in Norwich.

First band: KWIXAND 197? - Got together with some mates, and it was decided someone had to play bass.
Then I kind of "got good at it" and never looked back. Well, that's why I took up my first instrument---I play a few others.

First Gig: KWIXAND - A talent contest in a pub in Taverham.

There's a number of improv based collaborations, and instances where I "played a bit of bass" for people. I'm also Sound engineer for Tom Bowness Band and have composed - 24 pieces for classical guitar
