"Small torque got together c1986, rising from the ashes of Blue Bamboo, we gigged around for a couple of years, practising each week at Kellers factory in Harford Bridges, it was a great laugh, lots of fun and beer though never too serious. We described our sound as 'commercial pop', but looking back it was fairly typical mid 80's indie stuff, we did write a couple of faily strong melodic numbers which I still like. We recorded a three track demo at the studio in St. Mary's Works, Oak Street, Nch. About 1989ish we split up. Played a few times after that but never got anything serious off the ground."
