It was the loose amalgamation of Taffy & the Tigers & The Nomads that brought about the formation of one of Norwich’s most prominent beat bands The Jetblacks

Neither the Nomads or the Tigers managed more than a handful of performances between them before streamlining into the new group

The group in this line-up and then again in the first line-up of the Jetblacks featured an up and coming Lester Roberts aka Lester Middleton who had just left another unsettled new band The Continentals
