John Plane was my late father, ,the singers name was Brian Kerrison .hope this helps . The band started in 1971 under the name "Mystery" with John Plane :guitar . David Plane :Vocals .Colin Palmer : bass and Stan Dent on drums , around 1973 they changed the name to "Millstone Ridge" Brian replaced David on vocals ,Peter Rowe replaced Stan on drums . Also addition of sound engineer /roadie /manager .Aidrian Coneilly. And lead guitarist Chip Redpath. Then finally the name was changed to "Friends of Mine" With Brian vocals, John ,guitar, Pete Drums and Colin bass .played their last gig on 16th may 1975 at The Jentique and Metamec Social club ,East Dereham .
