Her High Heels (HHH) were a post-punk/art rock band from Norwich, UK that were originally conceived in 2004. HHH played their first show in early 2005 and were active until mid 2007.
After recording their first demo 'Attack Plan Alpha' in Autumn 2005, Marshall decided to leave the band. This resulted in Pointer moving from bass to guitar, and friend S.Henson to take up bass duties. With Pointer on guitar, HHH started writing new material as well as improving their old set. These new songs had more direction and focus but also kept their frantic element.
Soon after Brooks also said farewell to HHH, leaving them without a drummer. After months of advertising and trying various drummers, it looked very dire for HHH. Finally, lady luck presented them with The Black Veins drummer M. Applin. With a new line-up HHH ditched all their old material but kept the newly written songs. Throughout 2006 HHH played numerous shows around the country but mainly focusing in London. The band also recorded their second, self-titled EP. HHH were becoming far less frantic and producing songs that focused more on the band's groove. HHH got great feedback from this EP, catching the attention of Southern Records.
In 2007 HHH recorded their final EP "Motives". HHH played as many shows in London as they could. After a run of shows with poor turn outs, bent promoters and broken promises, tensions were running high within the band. In order to save their friendships HHH decided to call it a day early summer 2007.
