"The band formed in 1979, myself on guitar, Andrew Scott on Bass and John Griffin on Drums, all from Halesworth. We soon added Paul Smith from Woodbridge and started gigging in pubs and clubs in Suffolk and Norfolk mainly. Playing the usual mix of 60’s RnB, rock and roll etc. We got loads of work and we would tour round in John’s Commer J4 Van which we painted black and white to match the logo. John was a fish monger by day so we had to put up with the smell en route to gigs!??At the request of our tech guy, Andrew Monroe, we decided to have a day in a local recording studio in Ipswich, Hillside. About a week before the session John decided we should write our own songs so 7 days later we turned up with our brand new songs and the rest is history. I think we had 500 copies of our mini-LP produced which we sold at gigs. We did try hawking it around a few record companies but to no avail. Sarah Mattin, joined us on keys in 1982 in time to play our biggest gig to date, supporting the Tremeloes at Tiffanys in Great Yarmouth. The band split in 1984 I think, and reformed as a function band called 6 Across. I went on to play in many bands over the years, Gypzy Tartz, Charm School, Rave, Crush and Crush Deluxe to name a few. Currently I sing in an AC/DC tribute - Let there be Rock, and a free/Bad Co. tribute - Free and Company.??Thanks Kingsley for all your efforts in keeping this stuff alive." IC18/04/2023
