The Broadside Ramblers formed as a Skiffle group in 1959 playing at the Colville House Youth Club near Lowestoft. In early 1960 a majority of the group wanted to pursue the new rock’n’roll bands of the day and this saw the departure of the Drake brothers the remainder became The Felines
