"The Big Black Cadillac rockabilly band were originally formed as The Turbos in 2006 by Thomas and Redsell to play classic rockabilly and Rock 'n' Roll songs around Norfolk for fun. In [date required] they made a demo of rock 'n' roll covers at Purple Studios in Norwich entitled Got It Covered. The band go on to support The Fat Cats at The Ferry Boat, Norwich and also rockabilly legends Darrel Higham and Slim Jim Phantom at The Waterfront, Norwich. Very popular with the regional teddy boy crowd they progressed to writing their own material and in 2012 released their debut album featuring a mix of originals and popular covers.
