This was the first gigging band for all those involved John Jarvis (second from left) had guested with many of Norwichs top bands, acts such as the Offbeats,The Toffs, &  The Continentals before taking up the post of frontman with the Holt based Tornadoes, sharing the lime light with Paul Corlett.

 

The picture main shows where the group played their first gig at [venue required] in Hindleveston

 

Guitarist Roger Reynolds (far left), was at the time was studying at Kings Lynn college and was sometimes replaced by Lenny Symonds for live gigs. In August 1962 the band along with a few personel changes became The Wildcats when Joe Meek’s, Tornadoes hit the chart's with Telstar

 

Local entertainer and compare' Peachy Meade gives John Jarvis the name Jinx
