The members of the band had now progressed through the freshmen stage and had become regular favourites on the local music scene, however, elements in the band wanted to take the next step, Jimi Hendrix had emerged and David and Chris were influenced by this 'heavy than anything that had gone before' style. Pete was uneasy with the styles and moved on to join The Version. It was at this point David & Chris decided that a shift in this direction was the best next move for the group, and left to form Music Hath Charm
