In June 1969 That Direction became known as Natural Riches and recruited ex Spectres stickman Cawley and Aytones keyboard player Dickerson. The group weren’t often listed in the paper but Sidell informs me that it was still very much the pub circuit that the group played until disbanding in the early seventies.

Lead singer Howarth added, “At the time we felt the name change represented more sophistication within the band but I think we all knew it wasn’t right, we were a fun band, a bit off the wall! In reality the change spelt the end of the band.”
