Most of the band had previously been playing as Regency and were joined by ex Flight 69 front man Wright to become The Drifters. They were the house band at Norwich's new night club Legs in Anglia Square, Norwich. The group changed again about a year later when ex Flight 69 man Sid Fish joined on guitar and the group became First Impression.
