In 1961 servicemen from RAF Feltwell formed this instrumental band, who it says will be remembered at the local youth club for their arrangements of La Paloma and Never On a Sunday. They christened themselves The Black Hoods because that is what they wore on stage to perform. When the group disband Cooper joined up with one half of the now defunct Strollers to form The Bruntones and then later teamed up with ex members of the Feltwell Blackjacks to form The Mandans around 1965.

Picture taken from Feltwell.net website and say's it their final gig and they have removed their hoods.
