Jul 79 EEN: Last line-up of the band Stormtrooper became The Angels. The first gig is believed to have been advertised as Stormtrooper but played as The Angels at Gundry Whites, Nch on 22/07/79. First gig advertised and played as The Angels on 09/08/79 at The Manor House, Nch
Rumour: Changes came about after seeing Iron Maiden at The Boogie House, Nch on 20/07/79.
The band were forced off the road between January and April 1980 as Richard had perforated his ear drum.
